I have completed reconstruction of the woodwork on my Cape Dory 14 (with help from my friend Tom Hudgens) and thought other owners might benefit from my experience.
I ended up modifying the centerboard trunk trim by chiseling out the delaminated wood, gluing in filler pieces with epoxy, and making new outer covering pieces.
