What should I expect to pay (range) for a 1984 CD 30 Cutter? Hull is in very good shape, cabin trunk and cockpit need to be refinished.
Although it is mainly cosmetic not structural (gel coat is all pitted and I was told that Cape Dory attempted to correct but was not successful) Interior is in good shape as is mast and rigging. Power is the Universal 18hp diesel and appears to be well maintained. Main and staysail are 1yr old, also comes with original yankee, main, 1oz chute.(but no spinnaker pole)
Minimum electronics including old Navico AP. Has Edson pedestal steering. Appears to have all factory options which were offered when new. I appreciate any help!!

Re: Price Range for CD30 Cutter
I have a 1986 30' cutter ("B" Plan) Hull #358. If I were going to sell it I would not be embarrased to ask $40,000. Further, there are web sites such as "BUC" which provide a range of values based on make, age and condition of boat. You also might ask your insurance company what they would be willing to insure such a boat for.
Good Luck.
