2001-2002 4H.P. Mercury outboard Data

HELP!!! My old 25yr old long shaft outboard gave up the ghost this past week. Need to replace as soon as possible. I am seriously considering a 4hp. long shaft Mercury with F-N-R and internal 2.6 quart fuel tank for my C/D typhoon. The model is "4ML",looking for any comments Pro/Con. Also the altenator option and prop. selections.
