Some time back there was some discussion about a cleaner that I think was called "X-10". I have done a search but can't find the earlier comments. Does anyone have a jar left with an address or know how to get ahold of the company. I tried it a couple of years ago and found it particularly effective for the brown water stain that we get on our boats at this lake.

Re: X-10 boat cleaner
I recently used "Marykate On & Off Hull and Bottom Cleaner" with much success on an ugly brown waterline stain caused by algae. This cleaner will also take off the wax so you will need to rewax. Use eye protection and heavy duty waterproof gloves as this formulation contains a number of acids that cause burns on contact and respiratory tract burns if not used in a well-ventilated area. (One of these days someone is going to come out with a line of environmentally-friendly marine products since most of what is used in maintaing boats is, like this product, highly toxic.) Contact Marykate Ship Shape for further information on their product (www.marykate.com)John Phillips wrote: Some time back there was some discussion about a cleaner that I think was called "X-10".
