Dodger Costs?

Post by Bob B. »

What kind of cost should I expect on having a dodger made for my CD 25D? There is an existing dodger but he new one will need new plastic and zippers and such. I am supplying the fabric.

Are you using the same frame? That cuts the cost. Also, it's not clear if the fabric is the existing dodger or if you just happen to have some cloth hanging around.

Dodgers are very labor intensive... lots of work and they need to be custom fit. Lots less labor is involved in replacing the "glass" and repairing zippers/snaps/etc., on an existing dodger.

Tell us where you are and one of us might have a good canvas shop we can refer you to.
