Skywind's ('80 CD30 Ketch) engine is mounted backwards with a v-drive. 5 years ago I had a dripless stuffing box installed since regular maintenance of the original box was so difficult under the engine. Well 5 years later the dripless packing material has melted away and I no longer have a dripless stuffing box. Anyone else experience this conversion and its eventual failure? If so, thanks for any info on how you corrected it.
