I am interested in purchasing a Cape Dory 25. Any suggestions for locating one of these boats? I live in Grosse Ile, MI. (West end of Lake Erie). Given my location, I probably need to find one on or near the Great Lakes. Thanks!

There's a CD25 for sale at the Boulder Marina on Lake Carlyle, Carlyle , Illinois. The boat has been at the marina all summer, has a trailer and need lots of tender loving care. The number for the Boulder Access Marina is 1-618-226-3223. They have or can get the phone number for the owner.

I believe there is a CD25 for sail in Milwaukee. Jerry Hammernik posted an add on this message board a number of weeks ago. Dauntless is in great shape with many extras...has always been stored indoors and is on a trailer. You can find Dauntless in the CD registry. You can reach Jerry by email at dauntles@execpc.com
This summer we bought a CD25 in Port Clinton, OH and sail it out of Milwaukee, WI. We love it. However, because Lake Erie is down one CD25 and Lake Michigan is up one, you have an opportunity to restore the balance. Good Luck.
