I've taken the plunge ... I'm refinishing the interior of our CD33 with Scott's Liquid Gold. You may think you know your boat, but you don't really know her until you have sanded every square inch of her interior! Thanks to all who made suggestions as to the best way to go. I appreciate the sincerity of those of you who recommended varnish -- I just don't have the time. This project will still take 3 or 4 weekends, and that's without doing the focsle.
Now here's my question: while sanding the grabrails on the cabin ceiling, I noticed something strange -- they both have a bend in them, in the same place! The third molded bump in the ceiling liner seems to be bigger than the others, so that the strip of teak bends down where it is bolted on. And the other side is identical. Can anyone explain this?
