Flush Ring Pull?

Post by Ken Coit »

Ken,

If what you mean is one of these things, try searching on "flush ring pulls" or go to the link below. I haven't found a bronze version, but maybe Roger Winiarski of Bristol Bronze can set you straight.

Good luck,

The round one....

Post by Kevin L. »

I believe you're referring to the round pull on the hatch board. I've looked all over and haven't been able to find one. Not only is it round, but it's also slightly smaller than anything I've found.

If you find a source, I'd sure like to know about it.

Dear Ken,

The fitting that you are looking for is called a "Hatch Lifting Ring" of "Hatch Pull". We make them in Bronze and they are a standard part of our line. In fact we make three different sizes. You can find a genaric drawing of one on page 19 of our catalog.

Our complete catalog can be downloaded from our web site or if you will supply me with your name and mailing address I will send you a hard copy.

You can find poor duplicates of these fittings cast in "pot metal" in some of the larger marine stores. They have a tendency to break or disolve in anything from a heavy fog to salt water.

We cast ours in Silicon Bronze. They cost more but are stronger and will last much much longer.

Round, not Rectangular

Post by Kevin L. »

Roger,

The pulls we are looking for have a round body, not rectangular. They are only 1-1/2 in. in diameter.

Thanks, KL
