I have a 1976 CD25 and would like to change the moldy water hose. I can access the aft connection just under the pump on the sink. Following the hose forward lying in the port storage locker under the bunk it goes through the false bulkhead under the head. I already cut a hole under the head took out the old screws and disconnected the Crittendon head(use portapotty instead) I placed a 6" plastic access port. I see the hose continues forward to the tank but do not see where. I would cut another hole for an access port to get at the end of the hose attached to the water tank. Where and how to cut? Spaces get tight and I do not want to cut through the hull. Storage area under the forward bunk sounds logical but where? I believe the drain hole in the tank is approximately on the centerline as seen from the filling port on the forward bunk. Any one do this on their CD25?

Under the v-berth cushions is a plywood platform. It is screwed in around the edges. Unscrew it, remove the plywood and there is your water tank. You can afix your new hose to the end of the old hose, then lift the tank with old hose attached. disconnect the old hose and pull it through and the new hose trailing behind. There is no need to do any more drilling or cutting of the liner.
