Greetings, I sail in cold, cold Lake Superior and on passage up the north shore of Minnesota this May we motored with the engine at about 100-150F. I had tested the gauge and it works but the water temp was about 37F so I shut down the seacock till we got her to 150 or so. The manual says 175-185F. Any ideas on how I can get the temp right? Will it hurt the motor to run that low for a long time? She ran well.
