HI SAILOR FOLKS...
Sometime in late june I plan to cruise down the Hudson River from Albany N.Y to the WLIS area ... This is kind of unusual for me since I am a canvas sailor but this time will be sailing a 30 something footer cabin cruiser...
Now my question is...Does anyone have any experience transiting thru the Harlem River...I have charts with little details and will look into more charts shortly...meanwhile any info will be appreciated...
ANY PARTICULARS ABOUT BRIDGES, DRAW ,SWING OR OTHERS INCLUDING CLEARANCES AND PECULIAR BRIDGE TENDERS/VHF FREQ or HORN BLAST...
I thank you for any assistance given...
And who knows may see you at the HUDSON/randezvous...
CHEERSAND HAPPY SAILING...

Re: Harlem River
Spuyten Duyvil swings open Ch.13. Next is Broadway bridge which was under construction last summer. Sailboat cannot make it under but small power can.
