non-skid colors, looking for opinions

OK, this should be good. There seem to be a lot of opinionated folks here, myself included, and I want to pose an entirely subjective question. What is your favorite replacement color for the robin's egg blue non skid surfaces of the early CD's . I know that many people went to beige; I am curios to hear of more exotic choices and would love to see any pictures. I know of a CD that has dark brown non-skid. The dark color gets hot underfoot (especially if you run around on deck in bare feet) in the summer sun. Whatever color you choose, you may want to opt for a light shade of that color just to help keep things cool both underfoot and down below. But that's just my opinion.

For what it's worth, I replaced my non-skid on my old Typhoon with a Grey Interlux that I think makes her look damn sexy. My brother's Typhoon has the next darker shade of grey and it looks good but I like the lighter one better. Personally, grey non-skid, off-white topsides, red bootstripe and black bottom is the way a CD looks best. Then you can play with canvas colours like blue, red, brown or even green, what the hell.

Our current 33 has the light brown topsides, which along with light blue are supposedly the best for sighting at sea. I think it looks good, but I don't know about the darker brown canvas and brown bootstripe. Never could love the Robin's egg blue decks though.

I stayed with the light blue (though a little brighter). This prevents scratches, buffs, or wear spots from showing too badly. See my boat on the website below.

I did this color by using 5 parts Petit Easypoxy Bikini Blue to 1 part Petit Semi-Gloss White. It's holding up very well, but I wish I'd used the non-skid additive...paint is more slippery then gel coat, when wet.
