I'm reinstalling the speedo and depth sounder after the winter lay-up... The yard crew pulled these to keep some ventilation during winter storage- but as I find myself about to screw them back in- I'm guessing I need to seal or bed these with something. Could anyone recommend a product???

On my speedometer, the sensor has O rings on the barrel and these provide the necessary seal. Look at yours to see if it is the same.

Steve... Mine has big O rings also. I cleaned out the thru hull and the sensor,bought new O rings, greased the O rings with silicone O ring grease and put them back. So far ok..
