Interlux Dado Brown Boottop

I have just purchsed a CD 30 Cutter, which needs to have the boot top
repainted. It's been eleven years since I had a boat (a CD 26). I went to West Marine and found out that Interlux no longer makes the Dado Brown Boot top Paint. What do you folks use now?

Does the Interlux Brightside Single part 4390 Chocolate Brown match or resemble the Dado Brown?

When the Interlux Dado Brown was no longer made I found the Pettit
Brightwood Brown #3510 was a very close match to the orginal color.
Brush or spray..good durability....

I will be painting a new boot stripe tomorrow using Interlux Brightside Rustic Red #4391. From the color chart, it looks close to what was on the hull which was not original. Will let you know how it goes. Local boat yard is closing their retail store and today was the "last day" so I went over board on "necessary stuff".

The Interlux Brightside Single part 4390 Chocolate Brown is a very
good match for the original Dado Brown made by Pettit. I did Rangers
Boottop with it last year and it looks great, and goes on easy.

I redid my boot stripe last year and used Rustoleum Leather Brown...it matched the original Dado Brown extremely well and cost 1/3 the price of Interlux or Petit...I sanded the old paint and used a foam roller to put on two coats almost wet on wet...I waited no more than 30 minutes between coats. There's a bit of orange peel to the finish...but once the boats in the water to looks great.
