Transmission oil for Universal M18?

I am planning to change the oil and filters on the boat this weekend. Can someone please advise me of the proper oil for the transmission on a 1984 CD30 with the Universal M18 engine? I know I changed it last year, but today I am drawing a blank as to what oil I should use. Also, does anyone know the crankcase capacity for the M18?

Check out the site below for Universal Diesel specs. The M18 seems to want ATF "A" or Dextron II in the tranny.

Here is the web site for the Universal Diesels. The transmission for the M18 is the HBW50. Check the site for the type of oil and amounts.
