Captains,
I was looking at the plywood panels that all the cushions sit on in the "V" berth and in the main cabin. They look a little tired, stains, spots, etc. I was thinking about throwing a coat of paint on them, but what pain to use? It is a buff (light brown color) now, does anyone have any suggestions? I think it is the same paint CD used to paint the bulkheads in the engine compartment, might do that also....this vessel is going to be SPIFFY....!!!!

Dave, I have used Interlux Brightside and have been pleased with the results. It may be overkill for an area that rarely shows, but it can yield a good finish.

I did my bunks with exterior satin latex from Walmart in Racing Green(dark green). Looks really sharp with my high gloss varnished teak trim as I do not as yet have any cushions. Have not had any problem with mildew. Good luck.

Save your brain cells! Use a good quality acrylic latex. It holds up just fine. If you get messy with it, it cleans up pretty well with denatured alchol.D. Stump, Hanalei wrote: Captains,
