Model Doreys?

Post by Bob Russell »

A long lost friend of mine recently got married and hopes to have (either) a wonderful baby or a wonderful Cape Dory 30 footer someday! I don't know much about boats, but, he's a great guy who married a lovely woman after 46 years and I'd like to send them a nicely crafted replica of this vessel so he can have a baby first (their wish) ...then a boat! I'm thinking of maybe something as a display model ~ 1-2 ft long? Any ideas or contacts would greatly appreciated...thank you for your help! Bob

Bob,
This webpage has a model of a Cape Dory Typhoon. Same company may do one for a CD30 on request. http://www.nauticart.com-capdory.htm

Good luck,

I'll bet these cost a bit more than the half hull models, but aren't they beautiful?
