Our fresh water system on Slow Dance is not working. Aware of this from purchase, it was not the highest priority, but now I'd like to get the system up and running. It has two manual pumps. I have replaced the hand pump in the head sink with a new Fynspray, which apparently is not solving the problem. The foot pump in the galley has been removed, and I've ordered a kit for it. I'm also in the midst of replacing the bracket which had rusted. It's been suggested by another sailor that the problem may lie in the feed in the tanks. The vent lines seem clear, and I find no terrible crimps. Maybe priming a system that's been without water for a while just takes a lot of effort. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

don't know if this helps, but i had a maddening fresh water problem once that turned out to be a tiny hole in a feed hose that ran past the alternator and had touched it just enough to open it up, hence no pressure and no water
