Still considering trade from CD30 to CD25d

Post by kirk hill »

Hi again,

I'm still considering a trade from my 1985 CD30 to a CD25D. If anybody is interested in moving up to a larger boat please let me
know. My boat needs some work on the exterior but the interior
is pretty good shape. I feel that I would like more flexibility
and have a boat that is moveable over land without hiring a trucking
company.

Kirk -- I just met some guys with a CD-25D in San Carlos. It is a really nice boat -- big enough v-berth, etc. The cabin is a little smaller than on the 30, but otherwise the boat feels very good. They were planning to spend several months in the Sea of Cortez. They had no problem towing it. It would be a good alternative, if you can't figure out how to haul your 30. I'm not sure how many were made; I get the feeling they may be fairly uncommon.

John

You must have seen a very customized 25D as they did not come with a v-berths...

Right you are. I was thinking of another small boat we saw, and we looked at quite a few. The CD 25D had a head up front. Still, it felt pretty commodious inside for a 25.
