She made it all the way to my laptop in Singapore so she is obviously an avid reader of the BB. I cannot imagine a Cape Dory owner being so frustrated with what she has.
By the way, I fell for a hoax the other day...if someone sends you an email claiming that a file called sulfnbk.exe in your Windows Command directory is a virus...dont delete it as they suggest. It seems to be a bonafide system file. I deleted it because I trusted the source but didnt keep a copy...idiot. I am told it is connected with the ability to use longer file names than the old DOS convention but I am not sure.
Does anyone have time to email it to me from their Millenium Edition, Windows, Command ditectory??
Sorry to use the BB for non Cape Dory matters. In mitigation I can say that I was powering down the Singapore coast in a 41 foot racing yacht yesterday with a steady 20 knot wind and 11 knots on the clock, exhilirating but I was wishing I was safely home on my CD30!!

Murray, Here's the fix:
Fortunately (or unfortunately) the item below is a hoax. It has been
making the rounds on the internet the past few weeks. Please don NOT
delete this file as it is just a Microsoft Operating System file. If
you have already deleted it, here is a link which gives more info on it
and how to restore it:
