Typhoon 19' with trailer

Re: Typhoon 19' with trailer
Joe,
I have a 1971 typhoon in Columbia in very good condition. I keep it at Lake Murray. It does not have a trailer but I would be willing to make some price concessions for your purchase of a trailer. I was asking 3,500 but if you need to get a trailer, I could cut it down to 2,000 for your purchase of the trailer.
I bought this typhoon while living on Ocracoke Island but she originally came from Michigan. She was pretty much abused and I put her in working condition and she looks great now. I had two reef points put in the main and she sails great with those even under some fairly strong breezes. With the main, is a 130 genoa and working jib. The genoa is in better condition that the jib but they are both in good condition. I also put in a knot log that operates without having to have power hooked up and a manual bilge pump. The standing rigging was replaced in 1998 and I have all of the old parts for spares. The teak is finished with Cetol except for the rub rail. I have had no hull blisters since my owning the boat, 1995.
I can take some pictures and show them to you in Charleston. I keep a CD-25D, Tiva, at City Marina down there and will be there for the weekend of the 19th. She is on the dock just up the Ashley from the Charleston Yacht Club lift. If you want to drop by and I can show you the photos or if you want to come up here and take a look at her, she is at Windward Point Yacht Club and I would be happy to show her to you.
