If you look at the premier edition of Good Old Boat magazine, featuring Larry DeMers' CD 30, you will see the California Cape Dory Owners Association burgee flying from the starboard spreader in the cover photo. Inside, there are nice pictures of Jan and Larry in California Cape Dory Owners Association caps.
(You may ask why a Lake Superior boat flies the CCDO burgee. Two answers, take your choice: 1) Everyone's welcome here, and 2) according to the USPS guidelines, the starboard spreader is for a foreign ensign.)
