Typhoon Price

Post by Russell Rau »

What is your opinion of a fair price for an average condition 1980 Typhoon Weekender, no motor, no trailer. Looking at one as a possible second Cape Dory in the family and just do not know what they are going for. The boat is all there, wood in good shape, needs a bottom job and sail condition is passable but a ways from new. Thanks for your help.

I would say that it should go between $2400 and $3,400 considering it doesn't have a motor or trailer. If you do buy it and need a motor I have a fairly new 4hp johnson long shaft. Please let me know if you are interested.
