Thanks for reading. I have a CD30 with a backwards mounted vovlo MD7.
Since it has a v-drive the engine is pointed to stern making hand cranking (or anything else)a tough act. I was wondering the following:
1. Has anyone found the need to cut an access hatch in the cockpit in order to get to the engine? If so, how did it turn out?
2. Has anyone hand cranked their engine in this position? If so, how? Is there a proceedure I need to be aware of?
Thanks in advance. I get great info from this site.
