I have to change engine in my sailingboat and need informatin about my engine to be abel to select another one. I need dimensions of the kind you find in specifications about the engine (length, heigt and so on)(Yanmar YSM 8)

It´s nearly summer, I´m desperat and need an answer.I don´t want to to be without my boat this summer.

My Service manual gives the following: 608mm long x602mm high x 436mm high for the YSM8-R and 598mm x 675mm x 544mm for the YSM8-Y. I believe you have the YSM8-R with remote controls and electric starter. The book also includes dimensioned line drawings, but I do not have a fax or scanner handy. I will be out of pocket for a week or so, but if you still need the dimensioned drawing, I can mail you a copy later this month. I think the details would be lost in a FAX.
