Hello to All
I am tired of seeing my reefing lines drooping along the boom everytime I go out and am considering installing exit plates and running the lines through the boom.
Has anyone done this? Does anyone have any comments on this project?
Thanks in Advance

The simpler solution to eliminating the droop is to take all the slack in when dropping the main. I do this routinely, taking in the full first reef, as it tames the main considerably, particularly the part that's out of reach due to the dodger.
If the line runs internally, you'll still have the droop when you drop the main. It will stay there unless you take the slack out.

Me too: ditto on my outhaul line. Suspect this involves replacing the end cap on the boom with something containing sheeve(s) and then drilling an exit slot near the mast end next to the cleats.
Any tips or suggestions?
