Our original equipment Bayhead polyethylene tank has
ruptured and left us in the lurch. Anyone know of a
source for a replacement tank? Ronco doesn't stock one
and the Vetus and Nauta flexible tanks apparently won't
fit. Sure could use some advice.

Run a "search" for "holding tank" and you should find a lot of previous posts on this subject. I and a few others posted much info regarding the tank. I finally opted to construct my own which is now installed in the boat. If you are interested in building your own post a reply and I'll e-mail you some info and photos. The other options such as purchasing a new one on special order from Kracor are discussed in the archive messages. I also have info on different methods of repairing a HDPE tank if that is an option you would want to explore.
I've never heard of an original equipment tank made by Bayhead. That tank may be a replacement. What year is the boat? Kracor was the original tank supplier to Cape Dory.

Re: CD30 holding tank
A group of us recently had new bow holding tanks manufactured by Ronco Plastics...it was a "custom tank" order so it will not show up in their catalog. I think the mold number is B-486. If your tank is the odd pyrimidical shaped tank that fits in the bow under the v-berth then this one should fit. I have the tank spec's and can e-mail them to you. These tanks are 3/8" thick as opposed to the 1/4" thick that both Bayhead and Kracor make. Ronco will also place the ports wherever you specicfy. When we bought our tanks they were priced about $90 plus shipping (about $60).
You can call them at (714) 259-1385...ask for Scott.
Let me know if you need more info.
