Replacement sink strainers for CD 30

Post by Don Metznik »

Any suggestions where to look for sink strainers? My CD 30 has the double stainless sink, and the strainers are about 1.5 inches in diameter.
Thanks,

I found SS strainers, but not combo strainer/stoppers, in a hardware store among the equipment for the miniature sinks that are used for bars.

This may sound strange, but... go to a plumbing supply house with the old strainer, or pertinent information. They should have a replacement, and the cost will be far less than you expect. We stopped in Rockland last summer, walked to the supply house and left with a complete unit for less than $6.

Best of Luck,

Lee

Check out the Boat/US catalog. They have complete drains and strainers for less than $4. I have no idea if you can order a strainer separately, but it might be worth a call. Search on the item number from the link below.

Boat/US Item No. 178166 2 1/2" Drain Plug/Strainer In Stock $3.19

Stainless steel flange with chrome-plated plastic basket and ABS plastic body. Includes snap-in basket that acts as a strainer and stopper. Model P2102. Mfr.'s lifetime limited warranty.
