Does anyone know the depth required to launch and haulout a TY using a Triad float off trailer? My boat ramp has 4.5 Feet of water at high tide., and I'm not sure if that's enough. Any info greatly appreciated.

Water depth at boat ramp

Re: Water depth at boat ramp
that should be pretty close. although i use a roller-type trailer i think the depth requirement is pretty similar. i don't know the exact depth when i launch, but the depth with the boat still on the trailer at the bow is about 2.5 feet (just shy of my 3 foot waders). i would guesstimate that the stern is in about 4.5 to 5 feet of water. if your ty's toerail is about 5 foot off the hard out of the water you may just make it. the stern will float before the bow when launching so even if you are a little shy you could probably push her off.
