One last problem to solve, I hope. I have cleared whatever was clogging my cooling intake and the engine starts fine but it won't run for more that 2-3minutes. It acts like it's fuel starved. I replaced the tank and fuel line, put new gas in the tank. I'm now venting it correctly. I've comfirmed the fuel line arrow is pointing toward the engine. I pump a few times (although I never feel it get "firm"). I've got an electric start and when I hit the button, it fires right up. I get a fast idle while it warms up, then it settles down to low idle. Then after another minute, it stalls. It's not running rough and when it stalls it doesn't stumble, it just quits. I checked the fuel filter, it looks okay. When I restart, same thing (except it's now at low idle because it's warm.) Any ideas before I haul it out for service? It ways about 100 lbs so I'd like to avoid that step.

Rich: It still sounds as if the engine is running out of gas. The bulb in the fuel line should get quite hard. Here's my guess. The check valves on either side of the fuel line bulb are usually gravity-operated. Try holding the bulb vertical so that the output side is on top. Then pump until it turns hard - about like a tennis ball.

Eliminate everything else...prime it continuously as it is warming to see if it stalls...if it doesn't look to the fuel tank/line...
