I am looking for a CD25D to buy.
Has anyone trailered these boats?

I trailered a 25D from San Antonio TX to Fort Smith, AR in September. It was on a standard 16' flatbed trailer with the orginial aod cradle bolted the the cradle re-inforced. I was nervous but had little if any difficulty.
I came through the heart of Dallas (major mistake) but if a person had a good truck (I used a frod F150) perhaps 3/4 ton, and maybe a gooseneck trailer or some heavy duty sway bars on the trailer and equalizer hitch, I dont think it was that beg of a deal. I would do it again. The trip was 8-9 hours, with few difficulties. The boat was strapped to the trailer.
I have been thinking about having a gooseneck trailer made just for that purpose.
If you have other questions, let me know.
Where are you located? And how far are you willing to travel?

We bought one last year and are set to tow it back May 2nd. It has a custom trailer from triad. The owner says that it was a dream to trailer insofar that it was effortless...We'll see...We bought a custom-built Expedition to tow it...Good luck.
PS...There is one at Alibi...They advertise in most of the magazines...23,900 I think...Dave
