Friends,
Today marks exactly 6 weeks until the 2025 CAPE DORY RENDEZVOUS at the Chesapeake bay maritime museum in St Michaels. If you have not reserved a dock yet, I recommend that you do so soon.
You may call the museum and reserve a dock directly from the dockmaster OR you may use DockWa. The membership requirement is waived for this event.
Last year we had dinner as a group on Friday night at Carpenter street and Saturday night at Foxy's. I plan to do organize that again this year.
Arrival will be on Friday. Its a great time to chat and be sociable. On Saturday, I had planned to have several speakers. One now is in the middle of Chemo and one is sailing to bermuda on his chartered CD45. I still have a few trees to shake yet on that topic. I am hoping to have donations from
Fair Wind Fasteners and
Anchors & Oars Sailboat Parts in hand soon to give away at the event.
Departure will be on Sunday, and hopefully we will get some great pictures of the fleet sailing up the Miles river as we depart.
