I built a new boom for the Far Reach. I documented it in a two part video series on YouTube. Part two is now uploaded.
The videos detail how to fabricate and install a reinforcing bar, fabricate hardware, install backing plates, and there is extensive info on applying primer as well as applying Awlgrip using the brush and tip method.

Great work on the boom build! The details in your videos, especially on the Awlgrip application and reinforcing bar, are super helpful. Did you run into any tricky parts with the hardware installation?

Stample. Thanks. No. Nothing particularly hard about any of it. Just what's on the video. There are a few more tips on the the mast refit video reinstalling hardware. Might be useful to you.
