Finally biting the bullet to convert a perennially leaky Port-a-Bote into a two-part nesting dingy that can sail. I'd like to be able to store it on deck on my CD 25D. I was able to store the Port-a-Bote easily, folded-up. But putting it together on deck was too much work, so I just wouldn't go ashore unless I was somewhere for more than one day.
It was originally 12 ft long, 56" wide, and 22" deep. I'm making it 8' long, 46" wide, and 15" deep. The front will nest inside the back so that it stores in a 4'x4' area.
Some initial pictures.

Sounds intriguing. Am I the only one who doesn’t see any attached pics? Just a box with a question mark in it.

Weird this kind of image sharing has worked for me in the past. I'm using Dropbox, changing the ending to "1" from "0".
