Narragansett Bay, Bristol Harbor Float-In

This year’s Narragansett Bay Float-in is centered in Bristol, Rhode Island, July 22-23. Moorings are available at the Bristol Yacht Club and may be made through Dockwa. Participants are encouraged to make their reservations early, as Bristol is a popular harbor during the summer.
For members who wish to arrive on Friday night, June 21, please make your reservations as soon as possible since moorings are very limited that evening. There are adequate moorings for Saturday evening and for anyone wishing to stay over on Sunday evening. Moorings are $50.00 a night. The Bristol Yacht Club has a launch service for those that would like to go ashore upon arrival. Again, please go to Dockwa and make your reservations early (I just made mine!). On the Dockwa registration form, where it asks event, be sure to add ‘Cape Dory Float-in’.
The tentative plan is to meet Saturday afternoon for boat visits and Dark and Stormys. The Yacht Club has an event scheduled that evening so we will not be able to have our usual potluck dinner, although we will have access to the bar. We will instead be making a group reservation at a local restaurant for dinner – the launch will take us ashore and there are several excellent restaurants within easy walking distance.
Please confirm your participation by emailing joe.fischgrund@gmail.com as soon as possible.
Special thanks to Bristol Yacht Club Dockmaster Pete Tureene for his assistance in hosting our Float-in!

Thanks for posting the event the old-fashioned way, Fred. I just went on the new home page, clicked on the event, and registered. It was very easy. The full description of the event is there if you click on the 'more information' link. The new website is easy to navigate and I am sure it will be a very easy and efficient transition. Great job upgrading the website, Commodore (and teaching me how to use it!). Looking forward to a great Float-in!
