WHAT IS THE PROPER LOOS RIG TUNING TOOL FOR A CD DORY 25 . THE PT 1 HAS 3/16 BUT NOT 5/32

You posted this in the buy/sell forum. This really belongs in the Cape Dory Discussions forum. But since you asked, I think you have that backwards. The PT-1 has 5/32 but not 3/16. You are going to need a PT-1 and a PT-2. Intermediate size boats tend to need both. My sailboat does. This is probably not what you wanted to hear.

LOOS gauges work for multiple size wires. I had one for my J24 and a big one for my CD 36. I'll see if I can dig the small one out and see what size wires it's calibrated for.

My Typhoon wire sizes all fit in the PT-1, but my CD22 has wire sizes that need both the PT-1 and PT-2. It's too bad they don't make one gauge that covers a wider range of wire sizes.
