Bronze Screws Needed

Post by Bill »

Hello to all

Well I have tried for 10 days or so now to get in touch with Bristol Bronze. Four or Five calls one or two emails and still no response. Not very much like Roger! But that is what has happened.

I need two bronze 1/4x24x3" FHMS (with locknuts)to install a new seacock. Can anyone on the board help?

Roger if you read this, please contact me at call 918-647-8601 or 918-721-7746 cell.....These screws are holding up splashing Rhapsody.

Thanks to all
Bill

Try Jamestown Distributors. They have always been able to help me. They have a web page http://boatbuilding.net/products/fasteners.htm
Good Luck

Bill, Try WestMarine, I was in the Mystic store, Ct, this past weekend, though badly stocked for the begining of the boating seasion,I was suprised to see a large selection of bronze and stainless. I think you may find what you are looking for. Best of luck Bob P

Bill,

I just did the same thing you did (seacock replacment).

Defender shipped me a 6 pack of 1/4*3" silicone bronze screws and washers. Cost was great, and they got it to me in 3 days.

Hi Bob,

Be careful - The Mystic WM store seems to interchange 'Brass' and 'Bronze' a lot. When you ask they imply it's the same???????????

Fair Winds,
