Magnesium prop anode for CD27?

Post by wipowell4 »

Greetings. I'm the new owner of a CD 27 on Lake Champlain. I need to replace the sacrificial anode for the prop after this season and was advised to get magnesium since we're in freshwater only. I was advised to get the Camp ZPC-1, but that doesn't seem to be made in magnesium, only zinc. Any alternatives anyone is aware of?
Thanks,
Bill

Here's a magnesium anode setup from Martyr. I would call Fisheries Supply and verify that this screws into a
3/4-10 thread and that the other dimensions will fit. Good luck - Jean
