Frank married the love of his life Lauralee Sharp in September 1990 and they made their life together in Port Washington, N.Y. where they shared their passion for the ocean and the outdoors. Frank was an avid sailor and was quite literally obsessed with the sport of windsurfing from its earliest days in the 1980's. He also enjoyed surfcasting for striped bass along the beaches of Long Island and Cape Cod, travelling from place to place in his specially modified 4X4 Ford van filled with windsurfers, a quiver of sails and fishing equipment. Frank was an enthusiastic advocate for the environment and the recreational access to the beaches of Long Island and an active member of the windsurfing, sailing, and surfing communities. He is remembered by those who knew him as sincere, inquisitive, vivacious and caring. His untimely passing leaves a void in the lives of many.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions no services are presently planned, however, a celebration of Frank's life will be held in the summer of 2021.
