I emailed a couple of times but did not receive a response. The posting has now been deleted. The 24' is indeed rare. Thanks for posting this originally.

Re: Speaking of the 24
Maybe the person will find this forum. I'd be interested in hearing more about the boat.
Re: Speaking of the 24
Yep! With only 17 of them made between 1982 & 1985, I suspect it could be difficult to locate one!jfischgrund wrote:The 24' is indeed rare. Thanks again,

To be perfectly honest... I'd really consider going from my CD28 sloop to a CD24 trawler.
Heck! I could even build a ramp to get my Harley on & off...

My wife and I have CD 24 Trawler hull 007 built in 1984. We purchased her in the Chesapeake area in 2003 (I think). It's a great boat.

Thanks. We put some work into her, but happily she had good DNA to start with.

Re: Speaking of the 24
Was planning on a CD 36 Cutter originally but fell in love with the 24T at first sight. Cried my eyes out when I sold her, but I was able to move up to the CD 33 Sloop that I have today.

Beautiful! Is she still in Rhode Island? I don't know of any others in the state (I'm in Wickford).

Joe,
Sadly no, buyer took her back to the Cape where she was when I bought her. We kept in touch for a while, I may look for the P&S in my records, maybe try to track him down again see how he and the boat are doing.

Thanks, Mike. Maybe we'll see you at the Narragansett Bay Float-in.
