Cape Dory Typhoon Manufacturer Plate

I am the proud new owner of a '82 Typhoon Weekender Hull #1874. I was dismayed to discover the one piece of hardware that was NOT bronze was the manufacturer plate.....which is cheap plastic. Does anyone on the board know if bronze replacement plates are available?

Bristol Bronze made them at one point but they seem to have gone dark. Roger, the owner, was a font of knowledge of things Cape Dory and Herreshoff. Let us know what you discover.
