I bought S/V Jacques from the original owner who was an electrical engineer and sailed on the Great Lakes. I bought the boat via boat angel on ebay without looking at it for $4,800. My 17 yr old son and I painted the bottom, put new batteries on board, added some seafoam to the diesel tanks, and took off on a 1 year 6,000 mile adventure starting in Diluth, MN cruising along the Americas Great Loop plus 3 months in the Bahamas. We did a few things to the boat along the way (starter motor, injection pump, painted the deck). I'm not sure if we had good luck or if these boats are just awesome. Well I'm back to work and the boy is in college so I guess its time to pay it forward Hull Number CPDH0037M77E Price $5,000....Hope somebody out there can use Jacques and get the same enjoyment we experienced.

Status: Out of water with mast stepped.
