I have a cd30c the staysail foot is 13’3” but it is longer then the club. When sailing there is a pocket in the sail , leech is loose with halyard pulled tight . Is this normal or do I have the wrong sail.
Thank you in advance
Billy

Re: Staysail issue on cd30c
IMHO it sounds like the wrong sail for sure. Unless it has stretched so much to "become the wrong sail!"

Re: Staysail issue on cd30c
Ours comes to about 4 to 6” shy of the end of the boom. It really does enhance the sailing on the CD30!

Hi Billy,
My staysail foot is 9'2" and the LP is 7'9". It comes right to the end of the boom. When I get a new staysail I will actually shorten it by a few inches because I will be adding roller furling and need to accommodate for the outhaul block.
