Susan B, my 1983 25D, is for sale. I have owned Susan B since 2001 and have had many days of enjoyable sailing on her. Reason for sale: lack of use.
The boat has:
- professionally maintained Yanmar 1GM engine
- Main, 130 Genoa in good condition
- 110 jib in excellent condition
- drifter with sock in excellent condition
- Recovered cabin cushions 3 years ago
- VHF
- electric bilge pump and new manual pump
- Harken traveler
- New mainsheet and gear
- Origo non-presurized alcojol stove
- Hull in excellent condition, as are topsides.
- many nice incidental items including Life Sling.

Note: the teak on this boat was never ever varnished. I consider this an advantage for any one who wants to minimize labor and for anyone who wants to varnish.
Boat is basically as specified on the specs portion of this website and is on its mooning at the Mattapoisett Boat Yard.

- Bottom Paint West Marine PCA Gold.
- No hull or bottom damage
- Schaefer 750 roller furling – works flawlessly
- New stuffing box and cutless bearing 2 years ago
- Limited engine hours (used only 2-3 gallons of fuel annually for last ten years)
- Engine has new head and exhaust elbow circa 2010. Engine runs well
- Engine has raw water strainer
- New electric bilge pump in 2015
- New Manual bilge pump in 2015
- Groco Head Repair Kit on Board
- Waste hose from head to holding tank replaced with odor proof hose
- New cushions are closed cell foam covered with Sunbrella fabric.
- Raymarine Tillerpilot in working condition
- Mounted Garmin GPS with 5 inch screen on swing arm in companionway.
- Dodger frame and canvas. Canvas will need replacement at some point.
