I am having difficulty believing it is only 17 May 2020 and we already have a named TS heading along East coast of US.
It's like we don't already have enough things to worry about. This does not bode well for the 2020 "H" season. The projection was for a "more active than normal" season. Apparently, Mother Nature is clearly weighing in with a "YES".
John S., and others in the NC shore area, be safe

“Squalls out on the Gulf Stream, there’s a big storm coming soon....”
I hear ya Roberto. I am reminded of TS Bonnie in 2016. She formed on 27 May just NE of the Bahamas. The FR and I sparred with her for nearly four days during our voyage home to NC.
There seems to be uncertainty about Arthur’s forecast track but as of this morning most models show that track above—a turn NE and a path just offshore. I sure hope so.

Re: Tropical Storm Arthur
Not a good time to be half way to Bermuda, as would be the case for many boats, if things were not shut down, Steve.
Re: Tropical Storm Arthur
Roberto, glad to hear you’re keeping an eye on the tropics.
