Hi All,
We just bought a 1987 CD 300 MS and are beginning the refit. Pretty straightforward boat but I am stumped on sourcing new track grab rails. They seem to be an odd size. Maybe CD made them in their wood shop instead of sourcing?
3 loop, 4 bolt rails. 39” overall. 36.5” fastener to fastener. So 9 1/16 centers
Great forum. Great info. Thanks to the hosts and all the contributors.

Re: Real Grab Rails 300 Motorsailer
Why not remove the existing rails and try to sand them down to eliminate the grain that has developed due to years of neglect. If you are planning on replacing them anyway there is nothing to loose but the time invested in the experiment. Mine were pretty bad (about like yours I think but tough to tell form a pic) and they came out great.

Thank Keith. I think I can try to restore 3 of the 6, but some are broken as well. Will give it a go though. Good to know you had success.
