Looking to replace my wooden rudder on my CD Typhoon Weekender 76 #1200 / does anyone have the specs, recommendation as to a supplier or a diagram.
Thanks
Two possibilities for you would be to search salvage yards for a wrecked typhoon or to contact Foss Foam - they might still have a mold. I'm assuming the original rudder was fiberglass and foam - but maybe I'm wrong. Good luck, Jean
PS: Another thought: In December, "Petewentsailing" disposed of a Typhoon, with a rudder. Maybe it hasn't
been to the crusher yet. You could PM him. He's in Rhode Island, I think.

I have a used fiberglass Typhoon rudder available if you are interested. I have never seen a Typhoon rudder made of wood, but I suppose it could have been a replacement, although hard to imagine why someone would have used wood instead of FRP...
You can reach me by phone or text @ 843-450-2498. Good luck!
I realized I was needing a tiller not a rudder. Sorry for the confusion. I found "Progressive Woodwork of Georgia" and they are shipping it today. Thanks for everyone's input.
