Color of non-skid from factory?

Most of the Cape Dorys I’ve seen on sailboat listings.com have what I call a cafe au lait color non-skid.
I looked at the three other Cape Dorys I’m aware of in my area and they seem to have the same color except one seems to have faded to a cream color.
My boat seems to have the cafe au lait color under the gray that the PO put on.
Does anyone know if the standard color out of the factory was the cafe au lait. Were there other options.

For Roberto, it’s kind of the color of the head on Guinness.

Our 27 had the Guinness tan, I thought that I had seen several with a sky blue non-skid, those might have been painted. The owners manual does list the color of the boot top:
The boot top paint is INTERLUX DADO BROWN #246. It seems as though that would not go well with sky blue.

My 27 has the blue, have seen a few more with blue but most have the Guinness tan. I think mine was repainted some time in the distant past but does not seem to have tan under blue.

The earlier boats all had blue non skid.

I just did Raven's decks last year. I got a gallon of Kiwi Grip and took it to my local paint guy along with a hole sawed plug from the deck. He matched it up with his paint samples and tinted my gallon for me. He was a little worried about getting an exact match because it wasn't the same mixing base but I told him close would be just fine. It did come out very close and I am more than happy with the results.

It could be any color you want it to be, Steve.

I used Awl Craft 2000 "Moondust" and nonskid when we repainted Jerezana. "Oyster White" and "Toreadore Red" for the deck and topsides ... http://flavannada.blogspot.com/2018/09/ ... olors.html

I painted my boat red because it makes it go faster.

We raised the boot stripe a little and now the inevitable August scum line hardly shows against the black bottom and never really gets on the boot stripe. Also we cut the gloss of the deck paint with Flattening Agent. You put an amount into the paint and depending on how much you mix in you can cut by a nominal percentage ... after a test we chose "20%". It makes the deck paint a little easier on the eyes because you just get less flashing glare in bright sun ... and it gives the paint a kind of rich look.

Back in the seventies, there was always quite a lineup of Cape Dories displayed at the Cleveland Mid America Boat Show, and they featured the blue. Then one year they switched to the tan theme. Those were the days, when there were so many sailboats from lots of manufacturers. It was a long day, seeing them all. Now, there are very few sailboats at the show, it is sad.
