Enable Trusted Sites and JavaScript

Our web site uses JavaScript, please set up your browser as a Trusted Site and/or to allow JavaScript.

How to enable JavaScript for the browsers you use:

The CDSOA’s web site requires that JavaScript be enabled in your browser. You do this by making our site a Trusted Site in some browsers, and just by enabling JavaScript in other browsers. Information on how to do this in supported Internet browsers is provided below. If your browser is not listed, please check to make sure you are using a supported browser.

Safari
Internet Explorer
Firefox
Chrome

Safari:

Navigate to http://www.capedory.org
At the top of the screen, click Bookmarks.
Click "Add Bookmark..."
Click "Top Sites" from the dropdown menu.
Click Add.
Navigate to http://www.capedory.org/board
At the top of the screen, click Bookmarks.
Click "Add Bookmark..."
Click "Top Sites" from the dropdown menu.
Click Add.


Internet Explorer:

Click on the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner of the browser.
Click Internet Options.
Click the Security tab.
Click the "Trusted Sites" icon, which looks like a green checkmark.
Click Sites.
Type in "http://www.capedory.org".
Click Add.
Type in “http://www.capedory.org/board”.
Click Add.
Click Close.
Click Ok.


Firefox:

Click the menu icon in the upper right-hand corner of the browser.
Click Options.
Click Privacy and Security.
Scroll down to the "Permissions" section, and click on Exceptions to the right of "Warn you when websites try to install add-ons."
Type in "http://www.capedory.org" in the "Address of website" field.
Click Allow.
Type in “http://www.capedory.org/board” in the “Address of website” field.
Click Allow.
Click Save Changes.


Chrome:

Click the three vertical dots at the top right-hand corner of the browser.
Click Settings.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Advanced."
In the "Privacy and security" section, click Content Settings.
Click JavaScript.
Click the toggle and ensure that "Allowed (recommended)" is displayed.
Click Add to the right of "Allow."
In the "Site" field, type "http://www.capedory.org
Click Add.
In the “Site” field, type “http://www.capedory.org/board
Click Add.

Note: Another possible reason for problems accessing the CDSOA’s web site is that your firewall doesn't allow any JavaScript commands to be passed (JavaScript is used to create pop-up windows and drop-down menus). If this is the case, then you will need to ask your Internet Provider to enable JavaScript for www.capedory.org.
